The AFC is a promise made by companies and organisations to ensure fair treatment to our armed and their families.
At Armishaws we’ve been relocating forces families for over 40 years both in the UK and overseas postings.
Our pledge extends from the newest recruits and young families to veterans.
As well as offering special deals, we are part of the Employment Recognition Scheme to help service personnel transition from service to civvy street.

We provide free, upcycled boxes for current and former service personnel making a DIY move. Collection from our depots;

Employment Scheme
To help Armed Forces personnel transition to life after their time in the service…
- We guarantee interviews for suitable Armed Forces at our UK depots (Wiltshire, Somerset, Hampshire/Surrey)
- We advertise vacancies through the Career Transition Partnership (CTP) and Armed Forces community, to ensure employment opportunities are made available to veterans and their families.
- We recognise military skills and qualifications in our recruitment and selection process.
- We work with relevant charities and CTP to offer work opportunities to the wounded, injured and sick.
- We offer Reservists an additional 5 days off a year to allow them to carry out their duties.
