With its famous harbour, glamorous resident and shops that are the envy of London, it’s easy to see why Chelsea has always led the way in ‘London cool’. Once a market garden that fed the city, Chelsea is now a hub of fine food, incredible restaurants, funky design and some of the coolest addresses in London. Buns, boots, flower shows, everything wants a slice of Chelsea kudos, from the punks and pensioners to popstars and TV glitterati. This is the London lifestyle that feeds magazines and movies and remains at the heart of Cool Britannia.
It’s impossible to get bored in Chelsea. There are live music and theatre venues, cinemas, art galleries, museums. Residents have the waterfront and harbour, gyms, wine clubs, secret dinner societies and a fascinating history to explore. Foodies will find everything they need for those that live dining out or budding chefs and bakers looking for the finest ingredients. And of course, there’s the world famous King’s Road, a shopping and style mecca.
