The town has good eco credentials and many responsible, independent shops and businesses are using technology well while still offering the very best small town customer service, making it a lovely place to call home after your Buckingham removals.
The biggest event on the events calendar is the Charter Fair, an event that dates back to 1554 and is still going strong. The town also has regular Music in the Market, a Christmas Parade and Fringe Week arts festival. There are two markets a week, with a ‘flea market’ taking place at weekends.
If you’re interested in a new hobby or joining a local group there are a number of societies covering a wide range of interests from arts and theatre to cooking and ceramics. You can stay in shape at the leisure centre that has a gym, swimming pool and regular classes. Plus, good parks and areas to walk, jog, workout or enjoy a picnic.
