Guildford has something for everyone, designer shops, picturesque streets, great nights out and fabulous food. It’s home to a cinema, two theatres, galleries, a university and the iconic cathedral.
It’s also a perfect location for commuters, with direct trains to London taking under 40 minutes, you have access to the ‘big smoke’, without all that smoke.
The town is certainly a shopper’s paradise; The Friary Shopping Centre features all the high street names, outside you’ll find more big-name designers and a wealth of funky independent traders. So, if you have a clear out before the big move it gives you all the more reason to treat yourself to something new.
