    About

With a mile long beach, sunny esplanade, and more fish and chips than even our drivers can get through, Littlehampton is rightly proud of its beach. The town has been packed with surprises through the ages, as a port, WWII training site, even a temporary home for real life spy (and future James Bond novelist) Ian Fleming.

Part of the Brighton-Worthing-Littlehampton conurbation, the town lies close to the south Downs National Park. From fishing village to holiday hotspot, the warm climate and River Arun have shaped its fortunes bringing day trippers and business into the area.

    Leisure

There’s a packed events including Armed Forces Day, a Waterfront Festival and spectacular Bonfire Night celebrations. There is also a weekly market for foodies and a fascinating museum history buffs.

The town has a cinema and leisure centre incorporating a gym, swimming pool, plus fitness classes and groups for all ages. Nature parks, watersports, amusements and a nearby motor racing track all provide plenty to do.
