Spitfire
The Spitfire aircraft took its first ever flight from Southampton and went on to become one of the most celebrated aircraft in British history.

After the death of her father, Jane Austen and her family lived in the city for two years. It’s where she spent her 18th birthday and wrote Pride and Prejudice.
