Ghostly battles, UFO sightings, poetry and stunning countryside, the historic market town has so many quirks and charms it’s easy to see just why it is a real property hotspot. The charming town centre retains much of its older buildings that today are home to a strong line up of independent stores and services for those that like to shop local. The town is also making great strides in becoming eco-friendly and protecting its green spaces. There are cycle paths for greener commutes and open spaces for keeping fit or simply enjoying the great outdoors.
Banbury benefits from a cinema, art centre, parks and a famous market which sells everything from fresh produce to household necessities and pet supplies. Those staying in shape can head to the leisure centre or visit one of the many riding centres in the area. Golfers have a choice of courses and there are rivers for walks, fishing or just sitting and well-being.
The town marks the crossroads of the A422 and A423 and is a stone’s throw from the M40 motorway offering routes to London, the Midlands and the North. Train routes can have you in London’s West End in a little over an hour or Oxford in just 19 minutes.
