- Oldest Hotel

About
Dating back to 250BC, Exeter is a historic city that has a funky modern edge and vibrant business hub. Packed with independent shops and cafes, there is also a modern shopping centre, fast travel links, museum and food street market. In fact, there’s very little you won’t find in this gem of the South West.
Leisure
There’s a cinema and three theatres hosting a wide variety of performers and art. History buffs can explore the city’s Roman heritage and stronghold of Dumnonia, part of the Celtic kingdom. There are two local castles, while little adventurers can go wild in Haldon Forest Park.
There are a number of festivals throughout the year although if we were to celebrate one aspect of local life, we’d probably plump for raising a glass to Pebblebed Winery which produces some of the UK’s finest wines.
