There have been people living on the site through the ages, from the Bronze age, to Saxons, the arrival of the Roman’s and through the both World Wars, Farnham has stood the test of time and a has a rich history to discover. As a modern commuter town, it offers the best of everything with an excellent choice of shops and services.
Shops include bakeries, a farmers market, antique stores, milliners and more. History buffs can explore Farnham castle and Farnham Museum. Farnham Maltings has a wonderful outdoor cinema for a totally different viewing experience, or you can take in a show at the Aldridge Theatre.
The area has a number of parks, gardens, country estates and parkland to get out into the great outdoors. If you’re feeling less energetic then you can enjoy the taste of surrey with a number of pubs, restaurants cafes and local producers.
Located conveniently between Heathrow and Gatwick airports, the town is within easy reach of both the M3 and M25 while also close to London. By train you can be at Waterloo Station in approximately one hour.
